Living Rhythm, Crafting Self

Led by psychotherapist and Women’s Mysteries guide Hollie Wildëthorn, the Institute for Self Crafting exists for people who know there’s more to life than the mainstream offers… and are ready to live in rhythm with themselves, each other and the Earth.

Meet Hollie

Hi, I’m Hollie Wildëthorn; a PACFA-registered Clinical Counsellor, Psychotherapist and long-time Women’s Circle guide. For more than two decades I’ve supported people through psychotherapy, ecotherapy with my herd of horses, and Women’s Mysteries work.

My work lives at the intersections of trauma healing, feminism, neurodiversity, and magick. Raised between the dojo and women’s circles, I’ve always walked edges; learning outside the mainstream and creating spaces where outsiders, rebels and dreamers belong.

The Institute is where I weave psychotherapy, mythic wisdom and embodied practice.

What makes this work different?

Trauma-aware and neurodiverse-affirming practices

Feminist and decolonial values. Inclusive and anti-oppressive

Ecological and seasonal rhythms for growth and healing

Mystery traditions and mythic storytelling woven into psychotherapy

Embodied practices with nature, movement and altered states

About The Institute

At the Institute for Self Crafting, we believe in authentic connection, contribution and the freedom to craft your own life. This is for anyone who feels out of step with “business as usual” and longs for a life that is both visionary and grounded.

Self Crafting means becoming the artisan of your own reality. Moving from reaction to choice, from burnout to rhythm, from disconnection to belonging.

Values

Institute for Self Crafting

Integrity

Integrity means holding professionalism and sacred care together. Safety is woven into every aspect of this work; from how spaces are held, to how accountability is practised. Boundaries are clear yet compassionate, ensuring that people feel both secure and free to explore. Integrity is the trust you can lean into, knowing that your process matters and will be honoured.

For All Women

Inclusivity is more than a welcome; it’s an active affirmation of diversity and choice. You are valued here. Inclusivity means creating conditions where difference is celebrated and each person feels seen as their whole self. “No one is equal until we are all equal.

Ecology

Ecology is the reminder that we are part of a greater living system. To honour Earth, Moon and natural rhythms is to honour the ground beneath us and the cycles that sustain us. Here, ecology isn’t only an idea, but a daily practice of reverence, reciprocity and alignment with the more-than-human world. Healing unfolds when we root ourselves into this relationship.

Rhythm

Rhythm teaches us that life is not linear, but cyclical. Energy rises and falls, seasons turn and we are invited to move with them. By recognising the cycles of rest, composting, blooming and fruiting, we learn when to pause and when to create. Rhythm is both a compass and a teacher, guiding us toward greater balance, sustainability and flow.

Belonging

Belonging is the heart of community. It is the feeling of being fully yourself, without needing to hide or shrink. In these spaces, belonging is cultivated through story, circle, and shared ritual, where each person’s presence adds to the whole. True belonging means knowing that who you are is not only accepted, but deeply valued.

Choice

Choice is the foundation of safety and empowerment. Here, every practice is invitational… you decide what feels right for your body, your story and your pace. Choice honours autonomy and trusts your inner wisdom to lead the way.

I live on 100 acres at the edge of the Budawang Ranges on Walbunja Yuin Land. Here, with my partner, family, animals and the shifting seasons, I walk the practices I teach.

The Wilde is both home and teacher; a place where therapy, circle and ecology weave together.

“Hollie’s insights were on the mark, the tools I took from this work helped me manifest numerous goals I never thought would become real. I can honestly say I’m a totally different woman with a different outlook to who I was a year ago.”

~ Jasmin

“It feels so restorative to slow down into the more natural timing and rhythm of the moon. I will definitely recommend to others and be back. With love & gratitude.”

~ Jennifer

“Hollie taught me a lot of awareness and confirmation. She’s managed to explain something really complex in a really simple way. I’ve thought of these things before but I haven’t been able to piece it together so this work has brought a different dimension to my thinking.”
