Once upon a time there was a sweet little tent called Goldilocks who lived in the forest, delighting in her visitors. Women came from all over the country to sit in Circle, held safely by Goldilocks warm embrace and hear the whispers of women who came before…
Then one terrible day in August, a gigantic wind gust ruined it all. After standing strong for 18 months, through summer hail, winter frost, and storms in every season, Goldilocks was no more… 😭
Rising out of the proverbial ashes, a new Retreat Space is coming. The space we’d always intended to create, once the planets had aligned and the time and resources were right.
The planets have aligned but the time and resources could be in a better position, but one out of three is a good start right?
Incredibly (well not really because that’s what magickal seals of protection do), the tables of pottery and herbs and feathers and bones and oracle cards and horse statues and goddesses and cushions and crafting items… remained perfectly intact and eerily still amidst the roaring, spinning air flow; while Goldilocks’ body was flapping around outrageously in the 100km+ winds.
We are creating a Womb Lodge
(At least that’s the working title and may change as she takes shape and shows us who she really is) .
With earth and wood and straw and stone, almost entirely sourced from the natural environment at The Wilde, we will have a beautiful space for Circles, Retreats and Sessions, that no wind can get to.
Although most resources are coming from the land, there are some items requiring purchase. If you’d like to see the Womb Lodge come into being as soon as possible, you can help out by:
