How do I work with Hollie?

I offer an irresistible Session Program that includes a free 15 minute consult, a free one-hour session with an 8-session follow-up program which includes anxiety counselling, wellness coaching, and sacred space making. People also receive a Lunation Annual Planner and delicious raw chocolate! Check out the Sessions Program page for all the info. I also offer Vision Check-ins for people working with the Lunation Annual Planner. AND, there are a few Online Courses here for people who want to go deep with your Sacred Productivity.

What are your fees?

People working with me start on a 10-week-10-session program, charged at $135 per session. Thereafter, sessions are $110. I offer 2 free sessions in the beginning for us both to decide whether we will suit each other.

What are your qualifications?

I hold a GradDip Couns. ~ aka Graduate Diploma in Counselling, from the University of Canberra, graduating in 2018. I have Clinical Registration with PACFA and my Registration number is 25488.

I’m also Certified Movnat Trainer, a black belt in 2 styles of Martial Arts, a member of the National Women’s Martial Arts Federation and the Martial Arts Association of Australia.

I’ve worked in therapeutic roles with women for over 17 years.

Where is the clinic?

Face-to-face sessions are held in a private and confidential counselling room (or outdoors in the case of ecotherapy) in Braidwood.

I’m also available online, and approximately half of my people-load is seen online.

I don’t live in Braidwood or Canberra, can I still work with Hollie?

Sessions are available online or face to face.

How do I know if we will be a good fit?

I offer a Try Me session; for a free 15 minute chat over the phone or Zoom and find out whether I can get you the results you’re looking for. Then, when you’re thinking about committing to the Session Program, you can have another longer free session before you make a commitment. There’s no hidden costs or surprise deals at the last minute.

What sort of issues will Hollie work with?

In a society with an already overburdened medical system, I work with the whole person, not merely the symptoms to maintain health rather than just treat diseases.

I work 100% holistically, and do not follow a medical model. Holistic means focusing on the whole Self (physical, mental, emotional, environmental, spiritual) rather than focusing on symptoms. Counsellors do not diagnose. Complaint and disease-centered medicine has value, and the research does lead to benefit for people who have developed acute illness. In chronic conditions (Acute illnesses generally develop suddenly and last a short time, often only a few days or weeks. Chronic conditions develop slowly and may worsen over an extended period of time—months to years) focus on disease can distract from the whole person / whole health and wellness enhancement approach.

Wellness is aimed at maintaining health over the long term; for improvement of the life of the person, not to cure any condition or disease. Working holistically means I don’t “treat” any diagnosed or named disease. I use Self Crafted Wellness protocols to work with the whole person (including the mind, physical body, the emotions and individual habits).

“Health is not merely a passive state of freedom from disease, but an active condition of being, of growth, of development, of evolution.” ~ John Thie

What does working with Hollie look like?

To help clients understand what an holistic framework might look like, these case studies, originally put together for my locally branded practice Braidwood Holistic Therapies, are based on real life client sessions.

All names and identifying information have been removed to protect clients.
