What if choosing a small change today could contribute epic amounts of energy to your life?
There is no right or wrong, only choice. Choice creates more possibility. What will you choose to spend your attention on today?
Attention is a commodity, and once it’s gone, it’s gone. Do you want to spend your attention on things that will expand your energy, or continue the limiting habits that keep you trapped in the same old crud?
Here I offer you a small choice. Give it a go if you like?
Plan Your Day
Before I go to bed each night I write down all the stuff I need to get done tomorrow; anything and everything. I write down my wishful thinking (the big tasks that probably won’t get completed in a day) and the actual “must do” things. The next morning, I spend two minutes revisiting that list. I ask “Which task requires me most today?” “If I were to choose this task will it create the most satisfaction for me?” and “If I choose this one task will it create the most ease and joy in all areas of my life?”
Whichever that task is gets pride of place in my day plan. Then I work other things around it.
I plan my day in blocks of time. I use the circular day calendar from the Lunation Annual Planner and fill it with all the tasks. When there’s a big task, it gets a big chunk. Little tasks that don’t take much time may get chunked with other tasks, like kitchen jobs.
There are hundreds of ways to plan your day. I reckon I’ve tried at least 90 of them! When I finally found this method it was lifechanging. It might not be the one that will work for you, and you’ll only know by making a choice and giving it a go.
What if you choose to Plan Your Day for the next few weeks? What contribution could Planning Your Day be to creating joy and ease in your life?
Let me know how you go.
May all your days meet your Vision in wondrous ways that work for You!
